Drew University’s equestrian team placed third out of eight teams present at the U.S. Military Academy Horse Show. The Rangers tallied 24 points throughout the day, only Centenary and Marist had higher totals with 42 points and 29 points, respectively.
Hannah Young (‘21) was named Reserve High Point Rider following an impressive performance at her debut competition. She earned first in the Novice Flats and second in the Novice Fences.
Kristen Gagliano (‘20) was the high-scorer for Drew’s point riders, finishing first in the Walk Trot event. Catherine Tamburri (‘20) contributed six points to the team total, taking fourth in Novice Flat and Novice Fences.
The Rangers are next in action on Sunday, November 5 at the SUNY New Paltz Horse Show.
