Rangers Finish Regular Season With a Win

As their season nears the end, the Rangers competed in one last meet before Landmark Conference Championships against cross-town rival St. Elizabeth’s. The meet was held at nearby Giralda Farms where the teams ran an abbreviated race of 4,000 meters.

Christian Parenti (‘19) won the individual title with a time of 11:53.0, beating teammate Anatole Colbert (‘19) by 36 seconds who placed third. Kyle Majid (‘19) took fifth with Tiago Dos Santos (‘18) and Nick Smale (‘19) close behind, securing a sixth and seventh place, respectively. The Rangers gathered 22 points from these performances and won the meet 22-33. Christian Parenti (‘19) earned a Landmark Conference Athlete of the Week award for his performance at the race.

Although neither team received a team score as there were only six competitors, the Rangers dominated the women’s race. They swept the top three spots with Mollie Ankrom (‘21) finishing in 14:49.2. Violet Kimble (‘21) finished in 17:19.0 to take second and Zoe Camp grabbed third with a time of 19:36.3.

The Rangers are  back in action on Saturday, October 28 in Huntingdon, PA for Landmark Conference Championships. The men begin at 11 am, and the women step off at 12 pm.
