Drew University’s men’s basketball team concluded their season last weekend as they took on rival Juniata University. On the last day the seniors would play in the forum, Drew got off to a nice start but could not continue into the second half to overcome Juniata.

Drew scored 33 points in the first half to Juniata’s 34 and then in the second half scored 34 points to their opponents 37. Unfortunately the Rangers dropped their last game of the season by a score of 71 to 67.
Dan Roibal (’19) and Nate Aldrich (’19) led the Rangers in scoring for this contest. Roibal marked up the box score with 20 points and Aldrich added 22. The Rangers had a lot of help from common scorer Riley Collins (’20) who added 14 points, however the other Rangers did scored beneath double digits. The Rangers put up a tough fight on their last game of the season, the team added high intensity on defense with great shooting on offense.

The team has now concluded their 2016-2017 season with a record of 11 wins and 14 losses. In addition to their overall record, the Rangers finished their conference record with 5 wins and 9 losses. The team will look to bounce back next season as they thank their amazing seniors for all the work they have done. Joey Feinberg (’17) and Jonathan Allegreeza (’17) led the team as seniors and we wish them the best of luck with their next endeavors.
