Field Hockey Drops Battle of Madison Ave

The Drew University field hockey team fell to Delaware Valley University on Saturday, September 21, with a score of 0-2. Madi Sheetz (’18) attempted two shots, and Kate Todero (’19) attempted one, but their attempts were all saved by the Aggies’ goalkeeper. The Rangers’ goalkeeper Goalkeeper Ryann Callaghan (’19) remained a force to contend with, as she made 10 saves throughout the game, while Josephine Emanuelli (’19), and Michele Pozyc (’18) were credited with a defensive save each.

The Rangers took on cross-town rivals Fairleigh Dickinson University on Wednesday, September 20, but unfortunately fell to them with a score of 0-3. Callaghan made an impressive 11 saves, while Pozyc was credited with a defensive save.

The Drew University Field Hockey team is scheduled to begin Landmark Conference play this Saturday, as they get ready to face off against Elizabethtown College.
