Drew’s cross country teams traveled to the Standing Stone Golf Club in Huntingdon, PA to compete in the Landmark Conference Championships on Saturday, October 28. The Rangers were led by Christian Parenti (‘19) who placed 45th on the men’s side and Mollie Ankrom (‘21) who finished 54th on the women’s side.

Parenti finished the 8,000 meter race in 31:01.72 and was followed by classmate Anatole Colbert (‘19) who finished in 62nd with a time of 33:23.80. Nick Smale (‘19) and Tiago Dos Santos (‘18) finished in 34:52.41 and 38:41.68, respectively. Only four runners finished the race so the Rangers were not eligible to receive a team score.

On the women’s side, only three women were entered. Violet Kimble (‘21) and Emily Rosales (‘19) finished with times of 32:09.28 and 39:27.56.

Elizabethtown was named the winner of both the men’s and the women’s titles, with the Blue Jays placing three runners in the top five on the men’s side.

The Rangers compete in their second to last race on Saturday, November 3 at the ECAC Division III Championships in Milton, NY.
