Field Hockey Drops Conference Matchup

The Drew University field hockey team returned to home ground after playing five out of six matches on the road to face off against Susquehanna University on Saturday, October 14. The Rangers dropped a 3-0 victory to the River Hawks, who made it onto the scoreboard at the 15-minute mark.

Goalkeeper Ryann Callaghan (’19) was credited with 12 saves, 10 of which she made in the second half, while Michele Pozyc (’18) and Kate Todero (’19) teamed up for a total of three defensive saves. Also adding to the Rangers’ commendable feat were Madi Sheetz (’18) and Camryn Koch (’21), who tallied three and two shots respectively.

This Saturday, October 21, the Rangers are all set for a tough battle as they host the No. 12 Catholic University, who have already secured a place in the Landmark Conference Tournament.
