The Drew University Women’s basketball team dropped a home game to the undefeated Cardinals of the Catholic University of America, with a score of 69-39, in the Baldwin Gymnasium, on Feb. 4. The match on Saturday also hosted a fundraising event for the Play4Kay day, which is a charitable organization within the basketball community that aims to raise money towards the scientific research to find a cure for women’s cancers.

The team returned to the court on Feb. 8, to face The University Scranton, but missed out on a win, with a score of 70-39, despite senior guard Hannah Miller (’17) scoring 18 points for the team.  The Rangers are now ranked 6th in the Landmark Conference, with a 4-7 record, narrowly behind Elizabethtown College and Susquehanna University.

The Rangers will return to the court to face off against Susquehanna University in a Landmark Conference match this Saturday at Selinsgrove, Penn.
