“I’m suffering from OCD. The way I understand it, and you’ll get different answers from different people, is that it causes me to have intrusive thoughts that are unwelcome and are disturbing. One type that’s associated with OCD is cleaning and thinking that you’re not cleaning things good enough. But this is not me. In high school, mine were that I wasn’t studying enough and that I wasn’t a good enough student and that I would end up as a hobo. Eventually I got therapeutic help and now I can manage it a bit better. Not a lot of people would know that at a first glance, because I’m so happy and cheerful.”
