“I just got an email before that said I got accepted to an internship program. It’s at Morristown Memorial Hospital. I’m excited about it, but I’m not sure. I’m a Neuroscience major, and for the longest time I thought I was going to go to med school and become a doctor or a surgeon. And I’ve worked in an ER before, but this is different. You can’t do much as a volunteer. But I’ll actually be working with patients and shadowing a doctor, and I’m worried I’m not going to like the thing I spent so much time working towards. I’m stressed out like any other person that they might not actually like what they’re studying. And if I don’t, where do I go from there?”
